With the holiday season here I celebrated by trolling the internet for images of Santa Claus. It would have been easy to find ones where he looks his most festive and jolly, but I figured where’s the fun in that? Instead I went looking for some of the strangest pictures I could find, which lead me to an interesting fact – Japan loves Santa. Here’s some of the weirdness that I found:
Much like real Santa, this vending machine is known to give gifts to all the good girls and boys. For a price. Is it just me or does it look more interested in killing all in its path?
I guess the idea of a fat man coming down your chimney isn’t too appealing to young boys, or older men for that matter. How much more welcoming would we be to a half dressed teenage girl?
Speaking of fat and jolly, look kids it’s Buddha Claus! Why shouldn’t he get into the act? While he is giving us toys he will also make us question the existence of our being.
