The First Four Minutes Of WARM BODIES Sets Up A Fun Zombie Apocalypse

It’s weird how Shaun of the Dead became a sub-genre, with a number of funny, romantic zombie movies coming out in its wake. The latest being Warm Bodies, which stumbles into theatres February 1. To get audiences excited for it, the studio has released (via Fandango) the first four minutes of the film.

I’ve seen the movie already (expect my review closer to its release) and this clip does a great job of letting you know what to expect from this world, introducing core concepts without feeling overly like the exposition dump it actually is. I’m not going to go into too much detail, except to say that it should make a lot of different kinds of fans happy. It’s very much a comedy and it’s a legit zombie movie, despite the rom-com marketing.
